Cancellation Policy
At Samov, your experience matters deeply to us. We understand that plans can change, and we are here to ensure your journey with us remains smooth and satisfying.
Cancellations for tea orders can be made within 24 hours of placing the order or before your curated tea selection is prepared for dispatch—whichever occurs first.
We strive to offer you renewal, clarity, and warmth with every order. If your experience requires adjustment, we are here to assist you with care.
Returns and Refund Policy
At Samov, we believe in the power of conversations (with oneself and with others) to inspire, connect, and shape the world. Our carefully curated single estate Assam teas are crafted to offer you moments of renewal and warmth. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do. However, if your experience doesn't meet your expectations, we’re here to make it right.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may contact us within 21 days of shipment at care@samovtea.com for a replacement or a full refund of the purchase price.

Important Notes:
Tea Returns: Since our teas are sourced and curated with care, refunds are processed only after the original, unopened tea packets are received back by us in good condition. We reserve the right to reject refunds for damaged, tampered, or partially used products.
Flavor Dissatisfaction: If the taste of our tea does not resonate with you, we offer a 50% refund for 1 kg packets. This applies only once per customer to avoid repeated misuse.
For smaller packets (below 1 kg): Eligible for a full refund if returned in unused, resealable condition.
Note: Taste-based refunds will not be entertained for repeated orders of the same variant, as we assume familiarity.
Subscription Refunds: Refunds for tea subscriptions will be calculated on a prorated basis, depending on the number of shipments remaining. Prorated refunds are calculated based on the number of unshipped deliveries. Used shipments are non-refundable. Cancellation requests must be made before the next shipment is dispatched.
Refund Processing:Once your return is approved, refunds are initiated within 3 working days of approval. The time taken for the credit to reflect in your account will vary depending on your bank’s processing cycle.
Brewing Equipment (if applicable): Any accessories or brewing tools offered are designed to elevate your tea experience. Returns are accepted only if the item is unused, in original packaging, and returned within 10 days of receipt. Items showing wear or usage are not eligible for refunds.
Warranty Claims: If your brewing accessory has a manufacturing defect and is under warranty, you may return the item to our designated facility, and we will ensure it is delivered back to you, at our expense.Warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or normal wear and tear.
Non-Eligible Returns:
To protect the integrity of our service and prevent misuse:
Refunds will not be issued for bulk orders (2 kg or more) unless a clear defect is found and verified.
We reserve the right to refuse refunds to accounts showing excessive return activity or suspected abuse of the goodwill policy.
No refunds for items marked as final sale, limited editions, or promotional giveaways.

Delayed Delivery Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Samov, we partner with trusted third-party couriers to ensure your tea reaches you within 4-7 working days across India, barring any unforeseen delays. Should your order not arrive within 10 days post-dispatch, we will promptly offer you a replacement or a full refund—whichever you prefer.
As our teas travel from Assam to you, once they leave our hands, we have limited control over their journey. Therefore, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding in adhering to this timeline before requesting a cancellation or refund.
Please Note: This policy does not cover delays or failed deliveries resulting from factors beyond our control, such as:
Incorrect address provided during checkout.
Unresponsiveness on the provided contact number.
Repeated failed delivery attempts due to receiver’s unavailability.
